@percyishim It's the old adage: if you owe the bank £1,000 and have no money, it's your problem. If you owe the bank £10,000,000 and have no money, it's their problem!
@merseyrail Morning. A quick question, can you leave your car overnight at Hooton train station car park? I am travelling to Glasgow and will be away for 3 nights the first week and then 4 nights the following week.

@lost_in_tech By selling all the car parks you owned to a management company, leasing them back and then filing for administration when the rent got too high to make a profit.
Don't ask where the all money from selling the car parks went 🤔
@anon_opin They're bad enough but the one's that clip them on to the end of forks, spanners, knitting needles etc (depending on video theme) look even worse!
@anon_opin And who would fund it? The uber-wealthy business owners in taxes?
Great....except they would fight to give as little as possible. And they would win every time. So, you'd be left with a large class of people in absolute poverty and no way out.
It'll never work beyond trials!
@anon_opin I've never understood the difference between getting glasses and hearing aids - they both restore function but no-one cares about glasses yet worry about getting hearing aids.
@3DPBelgian To be fair, when I spoke to them, they freely admitted the inspiration was the positron.
I doubt I'll be in the market for one when it kickstarters but it does look like a decent printer.
I'm at SMRRF 26 with BIQU and BIGTREETECH and I just entered their competition and won simply by entering! Come along to the Dalton building in Manchester and join us to see the latest and greatest in 3D printing innovation, upgrades and accessories. https://t.co/ULdjToDCPb
@ClarksonsFarm1 Unfortunately I think he's right, certainly in the longer term.
Yes, there will always be petrol head enthusiasts but we, the general public, will be driving appliances.
Like traction engine rallies or steam train events - petrol heads will be relegated to exhibition events only
@eMediaTweets Took me a few years to learn this. Especially on an older printer, Ender-3, as I always assumed it need fettling in some way (which, to be fair to me, it often did!) not that it was the code that had failed.
@weaverslodge@Yam_Nivek Implement a minimum tax % payable on gross sales OR the 'normal' tax on profits. It may not be perfect but they would be forced to pay some tax at least.
Same for all the other companies that have 'licensing' costs to parent companies that suspiciously align with profits.
