@murphy_about Fewer in N. Yorkshire too. I think the dry summer last year has affected them. At some sites the primroses were quite withered by the end of May.

A very blue female Common Blue seen yesterday at Twyford Woods, Lincolnshire. The forewings had an iridescent violet sheen to them.
