Sunshine has returned, and with a brisk east wind, high temps will head back into the 90's this weekend. There is still enough dry air around that the rain chances stay slim. By the middle of next week, the deep tropical moisture and rain chances will return.
Who loves this dry air? Enjoy it, and bottle it, because slowly the humidity will come back this weekend. Rain chances will be slim, until the middle of next week, but high temps will likely get right back to the lower 90's.
How about a little bit of drier air for a day or so. Front moving south will lower humidity so that Thursday will feel much nicer. Soak it up because the heat and humidity will return slowly this weekend. Rain chances will be low for a few days as well.
Best rain chance of the week will be Wednesday as a weak front slides through from the north. It will dry us out a bit for the end of the week, then the humidity and the 90's will return for the weekend. The tropics will stay quiet for at least the next week as well.
Despite all the clouds and humidity, rain chances are only around 20% for Monday. And it's also June 1st, the beginning of the hurricane season. No tropical formation is expected for the 1st week of the season, especially with all that Saharan dust rolling off the coast of Africa
With west winds taking over for a few days, it pushes the best rain chances to the east coast of FL. Overall a 30-40% chance of storms for this weekend, mainly areas east of I-75. The one good thing about the west wind is it will keep temps near normal (90°) for this time of year
