@NewFashionPork Yes. And livestock integrated into crop production is the most long term sustainable farming system. It is the best system by far. All others are just playing on the edges.
House plants are not bad. Corn and beans in our area look great. I understand the crop report but in some spots bushels may make it work. Not everywhere but in some spots.
Spring in Minnesota. Garden half planted. A beautiful week coming. Farmers will be busy this week. Everyone in this area please grant some grace on the roads. Be safe.
@UCDavisCLEAR I know Dave and his family. Great people and great stewards of the resources they have. The type of people and farmers this state and country needs. Also committed to handing it off to the next generation.
We will not tell you how to farm but if the land either washes or blows we will find someone else who will do a better job But like I said the folks we have now are great.
Finishing up the eulogy for my father. A life long farmer but he has rented the ground out since he retired. It grows corn, soybeans, wheat and sugar beets. We have great renters. They do it right and are great neighbors. Just a message that will be spoken this weekend.
