Michael Jordan played his first professional game in Peoria--a Chicago Bulls exhibition game on October 5, 1984, played at the Peoria Civic Center in front of 2,100 fans. Sotheby's is auctioning off Jordan's jersey from that game-expected to sell for millions of dollars.

There were 11 regular season champions from one-bid conferences who didn't win conference tournament. None got an at-large bid. By rule, all got into the NIT and ALL 11 were sent to play on the road, including Toledo (27-7) and Bradley (25-8). Remember, the NIT is run by the NCAA
