Le liberal democrazie sono liberali anche nel senso che sovrarappresentano da sempre le professioni liberali (e ad oggi con la fine dei partiti di classe ancora di più) a discapito della "classe" lavoratrice. La disaffezione alla politica parte anche da questo squilibrio.
