@SusanBonner @MattGallowayCBC Blind hope isn't hope. The testing of these vaccines was rushed! We don't kow how long they last. We don't know anything about their long term side-effects. I'm very pro vaccination, but I don't trust these. Desperation for positive messaging? Yes!
@MetaCtrl AutoSync is great! I wonder if you could do a small enhancement to it, though. I'm blind so rely on speech/braille to use it. There's a utton at the bottom of each tab which comes up (to me) as unlabeled. Maybe those buttons are graphics. Could you please label them?
@OttawaMorning I wonder how a blind person is supposed to use that buttonless elevator. He/she won't see the QR code, let alone be able tyo easily scan it. Finding oneself inside a buttonless elevator, with no buttons to find and count, wouldn't work very well.
@claudiahammond I think the touch research may have a statistical problem. Being voluntary rather than a selected random sampling, it could be that people with certain predispositions were less likely to participate: less need for touch, the personal nature of spousal touching...
@ChristophKoncz Is it the performer (you), the composer (#Mozart), or his original #violin? Perhaps it's some combination of these. Whichever it is, what I heard on @CBCAsItHappens this evening was, to my recollection, the most beautiful violin sound I've ever heard!
@CarlosWatson@KattyKay_ "a house divided against itself shall fall" isn't an Abraham Lincoln original. He was quoting the Bblbe (see Mark 3:25). I'm sure that the people of his day recognized that. So sad that the people of our day don't.
@OttawaMorning Why does the probably racist assault of that black boy last week bother us so much while the summary slaughter of millions of unwanted babies by feminist mothers every year doesn't? Is it that black lives matter but that babies' lives don't?
@CBCQuirks 2 Peter 3:10 says, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
@CBCQuirks We do know when and how this universe, including the earth, will end. When? When God is finished with it. It's beyond the scope of a tweet, but that'll be relatively soon. How? By annihilation! All of its matter will be instantaneously converted into energy. He says:
@TheCurrentCBC @MattGallowayCBC Regarding Breona Taylor: More than one witness said that the police knocked. Even Kenneth Walker himself did. There seems to be a campaign of misinformation after all such events. Check this out: https://t.co/UaUrI2h30o
@CBCOntarioToday @ErinOTooleMP Regardless of who the new leader of the @CPC_HQ is, if all I continue to hear is hatred for and trashing of the others then I won't be voting for them. They need to stop denigrating their opponents and just tell us what they'll actually be doing!
@WBZNightside The first doctor isn't trustworthy, and the second one is dubious for supporting what the first one said. #COVID19 is caused by a virus. Science says that Antibiotics are ineffective for that as they're only useful for trweating bacterial infections. Check it out!
@chrishallcbc Why are we questioning Bill Morneau's reason for resigning but not questioning Andrew Scheer's reason for resigning. If he can't be both a good party leader and a good dad, what'd he have said if the Conservatives were elected and he became Prime Minister?
@uncovercbc Just listened to Dead Wrong. This may well be the best podcast I've ever heard. The issues it reveals are so serious and so clearly and thoroughly presented. I hope it'll eventually be broadcast in a time slot that'll give it the broadest possible exposure.
@CBCOntarioToday We call caterpillars "pests" because they're destroying so many trees. Why aren't we calling feminists "pests" because they kill so many aabies? Come to think of it, #feminism has killed way more people than #terrorism has so I say that feminists are terrorists!
@OttawaMorning We've now entered a period of black privilege. Why has it become essential for non-black people, especially white people, to profusely apologize whenever a black person assaults women, loots stores, burns buildings, fires a taser at a police offercer, etc?
@OttawaMorning@DavidBlairCBC I hate the term "parenting" as it makes the raising of ones own children sound like it's just another job. Being a parent ought to be duties and obligations undertaken as an act of selfless love, not only for ones children, but also for ones spouse.
@MadsenJourno Verify with the experts but, in my opinion, if the guy was the victim of a SIM swap then his own phone would've stopped working as soon as his number was reassigned to the other SIM. No way he wouldn't have noticed that something had gone wrong.
@TheCurrentCBC Of course we're all equal. Of course #BLM#BlackLivesMatter too. But don't babies' lives also matter, and don't black people also kill their unwanted babies? This is hypocritical to me. Why do the black born matter more than the womb-resident of any colour?
