In 2023, independent review of the IREV Portal revealed that it was the Labour Party that won the presidential election in Rivers State.

But INEC dubiously announced a fake result for the APC.

The reason they do not want compulsory transmission of results without exception, is that they’ll find it difficult to get away with the kind of fraud we saw in Rivers if they don’t leave room for manipulation.

By removing the consequence of failure of mandatory real time transmission, the APC is preparing the groundwork to tell their opponents in 2027 to “GO TO COURT”.
