A hedge can lose money for months and still be valuable.

But calling it “insurance” doesn’t make any price reasonable.

The right benchmark isn’t the hedge’s P&L. It’s the portfolios downside with and without it.

@damiangamo @Albitamix @negocios_tv Gracias por el update 💪

@DarkLord_gr That’s the key on that kind of strategies.

It doesn’t just matter the APR, also the consistency along the time.

Thanks for sharing btw good content.

Solo has empaquetado riesgos conocidos.

A forecast can become more accurate without becoming more valuable.

If it never changes what you buy, sell, hedge, or size, the extra precision may have no economic value.

The goal isn’t to predict more. It’s to make better decisions.

[DaviDQuantFi @DaviDQuantFi]

[DaviDQuantFi @DaviDQuantFi]

An index can become less volatile without any of its stocks becoming less volatile.

The stocks simply stop moving together.

When you trade index options, you’re trading correlation too. Whether you realize it or not.

[DaviDQuantFi @DaviDQuantFi]

@Rifat_EE Yes! And that’s why fee APR alone can be misleading. A pool can generate attractive fees while losing much of that value to arbitrageurs through LVR. What matters is what LPs actually retain after adverse selection.
