@frmarcellinus Padre if God actually feel the same way we feel concerning unfaithfulness I'm not sure He will pardon. He is God and transcend pains and all human emotions.
The image is misleading, as if the mother of Jesus is in competition with her son Our Lord Jesus Christ. There is only one mediator between God and man, Jesus! Mary is not on a separate path from Jesus. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Whatever powers Mary has is because of Jesus. Jesus said whoever believes in him will perform great works and even greater works(John 14:12). Even as an ordinary Christian you have powers, you perform miracles, you intercede for people. How much more the mother of our Saviour? And many times our confidence is hindered by our sins and so we ask her to intercede for us. No one is saying you cannot pray directly to Jesus. We do. We also ask for the Blessed Mother’s intercession which indeed enhances our prayers. We recall what she did at the wedding feast of Cana and how her intervention helped the situation. And before anyone comes with the silly notion that she is dead, remember what Jesus told the Sadducees, that God is “God of the living, not of the dead, for to him all are alive. “(Luke 20:38) To Him Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Mary, are all alive! You too can ask Mary’s intercession and see a difference 🤷🏿♂️
In 2023, I applied for a position at Zenith Bank and was successful. I completed all the rigorous stages of the employment process and received my official offer letter from the HR department via email.
While my colleagues proceeded to Abuja to collect their posting letters, I declined to do so due to my strong passion for teaching. Fast forward to 2026, I have successfully completed my MSc in Mathematics and Education.
I am also a SEMO and I-STEM Champion, in addition to several other notable academic achievements.
I don't regret being a teacher!!!
@General_Oluchi It's like saying that Education is evil because men has used the knowledge they gathered to perpetuate evil. From building of weapons of mass destruction to concentration camp. Human being is the problem not religion.
@PeterObi Mr Peter Obi is coming with full force and effect. It's no longer the presidency in his address but Tinubu. It shows he's taking the bull by the horn.

Education Crisis: Calls for Fundamental Change, Not Just Policy
The Federal Government has finally admitted to its poor management of the education sector. Recently, the Minister of Education acknowledged that the policy separating junior and senior secondary schools has failed to improve educational outcomes. This is evident in recent examination results. In 2024, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) reported that only 38.32% of candidates passed English and Mathematics in the WASSCE. In 2025, only 32% passed the computer-based WASSCE. This poor performance has been consistent across major examinations over the past two years.
This admission is tragic because education is the most vital contributor to human capital development, which forms the foundation for growth and economic development of any society. We cannot overcome economic stagnation without prioritising education, healthcare, and job creation to lift millions of unemployed youths out of poverty. As successful Asian nations have demonstrated, educational excellence requires sustained investment in curriculum development, motivated teachers, and better learning environments.
Unfortunately, the government continues to neglect the sector. In the 2026 budget, education received only ₦3.52 trillion, just 6.17% of total expenditure, down from 7.87% in 2025, and well below UNESCO’s recommended 15–20%. This low allocation indicates a failure to recognise education as a driver of sustained economic growth.
Education advocate, Mr Alex Onyia @winexviv , recently revealed that Nigeria failed to sponsor students to the International STEM and Mathematics Olympiads due to a lack of funding. It is heartbreaking that the government can sponsor hundreds to irrelevant international conferences yet fail to support its brightest students on the world stage.
The Minister’s admission reflects a broader failure of public leadership. The issue is not the JSS/SSS policy itself, but the lack of commitment to properly fund, manage, and deliver quality education.
In Anambra State, we proved that committed leadership can transform educational outcomes. Through effective funding, oversight, provision of laptops, generators, internet connectivity, and other learning aids, we turned the sector around. For example, our effort in providing computers across all secondary schools (public and private in the state) was recognised by HP Africa Head, who declared that Anambra had procured the largest number of laptops for school children of any subnational government in Africa.
For the future of our society, we must deliberately invest in education, healthcare, and job creation. As I have always said, failing to do the right things is equivalent to abusing society, and the society we abuse today will take its revenge on us and our children tomorrow.

The coordinated assault on Nigerians’ right to political participation under Tinubu’s era of morontocracy is now complete with the court-ordered deregistration of the NDC.
I totally condemn this assault on democracy. Like every other act of repression by this regime, it will not stand!

Today was one of the most painful days of my ministry.
With tears in my eyes and a heavy heart, I stood before 22 coffins as I conducted the mass burial of our brothers and sisters in Christ who were brutally killed on the night of June 21 in Kawel, Mushere, Bokkos LGA of Plateau State.
As I looked upon the grieving families, I saw widows whose husbands would never return home, children whose parents would never hold them again, and parents burying the children they had prayed and sacrificed so much for. The cries of sorrow pierced my soul. No words seemed enough to comfort such unimaginable pain.
These 22 precious souls were not numbers. They were fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Last night they went to sleep hoping for tomorrow, but violence stole their lives and left their families brokenhearted.
As we lowered their bodies into the ground, I could not help but ask: How many more innocent Christians must be buried before the world hears our cries? How many more tears must be shed before peace returns to our communities?
Yet even in our sorrow, we hold on to God's promises. The Bible says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18). Today, I pray that God will draw near to every grieving family and give them strength beyond human understanding.
O Lord, heal our land. Comfort the widows. Protect the orphans. Wipe away the tears of Your people. Let the blood of the innocent cry out no more. May justice prevail, and may Your peace reign over Plateau State and all of Nigeria.
Though their bodies rest in the earth today, their faith remains a testimony that death cannot silence. We will remember them. We will mourn them. And we will continue to pray that God brings healing to our wounded land.
May their souls rest in perfect peace.
TODAY I CONDUCTED A MASS BURIAL FOR 22 CHRISTIANS KILLED IN KAWEL COMMUNITY, BOKKOS LGA
Today was one of the most painful days of my life.
With tears in my eyes, I stood before twenty-two graves in Kawel Community, Mushere District of Bokkos LGA, Plateau State, where I conducted the mass burial of twenty-two Christians killed during the tragic attack of June 21, 2026.
Just days ago, they were with their families—sharing meals, laughing, praying, and looking forward to tomorrow. Today, their loved ones laid them to rest.
I watched mothers mourn their children, children cry for parents who will never return, wives weep for their husbands, and elderly parents bury sons and daughters they hoped would one day bury them.
One child asked, “Who will take care of me now?” Another cried, “Why did they take my father away?”
These twenty-two lives were not numbers. They were fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters—people created in the image of God, loved by their families, and full of dreams.
As the graves were covered with earth, one question echoed in my heart: How many more innocent lives must be lost before peace comes to our land?
To those in authority, I ask: Do these lives matter? Do these grieving families matter? How many more communities must endure such pain before lasting protection is provided?
Yet even in our sorrow, we hold on to God’s promise:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
To every widow, orphan, and grieving family, may God comfort and strengthen you.
Tonight, many homes will be silent, many chairs empty, and many hearts broken.
May the souls of these twenty-two Christians rest in perfect peace. May their memory never be forgotten. And may God bring lasting peace to Plateau State and comfort to every family left behind.
Amen.
@neo_officialll In the grand scheme of things God is the summit. The sun shines both for the righteous and sinners. The aim of prayer is to connect with that God and have relationship with Him, not for materialistic gains.
