Amanda Eller's story is one of survival and determination. In May 2019, this yoga instructor embarked on what was meant to be a brief hike in the lush forests of Maui, Hawaii. However, her adventure took an unexpected turn when she lost her way and became disoriented.

For 17 days, Amanda navigated the challenging terrain, surviving on her instincts and resilience. The community rallied together, launching a massive search effort that captured global attention. Helicopters scoured the dense forest, and volunteers combed through the wilderness in the hopes of finding her.

In a dramatic turn of events, a search helicopter spotted Amanda in a remote ravine on May 24, 2019. Despite her injuries and the physical toll of the ordeal, she was conscious. Her survival showcased the strength of the human spirit and served as a testament to the power of community support in times of crisis.

Amanda Eller's journey became a symbol of hope, reminding us of the tenacity within each individual to overcome challenges and emerge stronger on the other side.
