@GetMyGuitars At one point I had taken about 7 years off. But, previous to that I had played pretty fanatical for 25 years so muscle memory played a huge part in reconnecting with my guitar skills. I was gigging within that first month back. It took a few months to have my full dexterity back

@EA_guitar One of my students had a song they were trying to learn and was having trouble with it so I charted it out for them. No wonder they found it challenging. So often we're used to just feeling a 4/4 but counting becomes a superpower if you take the time (pun intended) to learn.
