If you examine the generic Tylenol pills at CVS, Aldi and Costco you’ll notice the prices are very different

- CVS is $6 for 24 tablets
- Aldi is $1.69 for 100 tablets
- Costco is $8 for 1,000 tablets

If you examine the pills, they are all stamped with ‘L484’ this means they all produced by the same manufacturers or contracted suppliers that simply rebrand and package for different retailers

They’re all the exact same medication

I’ll break down the per pill cost for everyone

- CVS: $0.25 per pill
- Aldi: $0.017 per pill
- Kirkland (Costco): $0.008 per pill

Remember, these are all the exact same pills

This is a classic example of private labeling in retail. The same factory produces the pills, and stores add their markup based on brand perception, convenience, packaging, and profit margins

CVS charges a premium for the “pharmacy trust” factor

R. Lee Ermey enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1961. He served as a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego from 1965 to 1967.

Along with serving as a drill instructor, Ermey was also a rifleman and repair shop mechanic throughout his time in the Corps.

In 1968, he arrived in Vietnam where he served 14 months attached to Marine Wing Support Group 17. He then served in Okinawa and he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant.

In 1972 he was medically discharged for various injuries sustained during his service.

On May 17, 2002 Ermey received an honorary promotion to Gunnery Sergeant, thus becoming the first retiree in the history of the Marine Corps to be promoted.

It was #OTD in 1985 that Ferris Bueller and his friends ditched school to attend a #Cubs game! The game showed on the TV in the pizza parlor where Dean Rooney was looking for Ferris was from a Cubs vs Braves game on June 5th 1985, a game the Cubs lost 4-2. The shots of Ferris, Cam, and Sloane at Wrigley Field were filmed during the Cubs’ 17-15 loss to the Montreal Expos on September 24, 1985.
