Per the WSJ today: 90% of drugs are generics with thin margins. Reform requires innovation in the middle of the pharmaceutical supply chain. Whenever there is a challenge presented, I prefer to think about what are the opportunities that are created. The impact of the MFN is of course far reaching, but it also strikes me that this could be huge catalyst AI drug discovery and development. Increasing productivity by reducing cost and time while increasing probability of success can create a different economic framework.
