-Draft strong run defenders (Collins, CJ West)

YEAR 2
-With run D solidified, add DT pass rush — meet Osa Odighizuwa

The Osa contract is the holy grail for NFL GMs.

2026 is a moderate and fair price for a player of his skillset.

Then in 2027 AND 2028 there is no guaranteed money so the team can cut him with no dead money if he sucks.

If they like him, they can convert his base non-guaranteed salary into a signing bonus to create cap space for the current year.

The 49ers choose each year if they want him or not with basically ZERO cost to them. Excellent contract, great player, and the 3rd round pick is fair compensation.
