Today is the launch (Linen Hall Library, 6pm) of my book 'Gatherings of Irish Harpers 1780-1840' (Irish Pages Press) and the release of the Kurt Weill disc I produced for SOMM Recordings (Symphony No.2 and Violin Concerto) with the Ulster Orchestra, Jac van Steen & Tamas Kocsis.

@SharonCDir There are far too many examples of our built heritage being left to rot slowly away. Great Victoria Street, Shaftesbury Square and of course the old Assembly / Exchange Rooms, plus lots more. Where's the drive from the City Council to make things happen for the best?

What have we come to with the NI Protocol? I've just tried to order a book about a particular composer through PostScript Books, based in England. I've been a regular customer for many years, but now Belfast is deemed to be overseas and in a state of suspension.
