@asurioncares now tells me that the external screen on my Fold5 is impossible to replace and I will need their $299 phone replacement. Local repair place told me the can have the Samsung part to repair it in two days. $189 otd. Why am I paying for their insurance? @ATTHelp

@ATT My Galaxy Fold 5 was dropped while in a protective case but broke it's exterior screen. According to my AT&T protection plan I should be able to replace the screen for $29. However they've been out of stock for almost the last 2 months as the problem has gotten worse. 1/2

18 month old Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. Out of warranty, apparently a common problem known as the "Black line of death." $300 replace using the AT&T Insurance. I doubt the folding was done more than 1000 times.
