@withylake@ukorchids@VincentBlood7 Well done Andy… I haven’t had much time this year as I’ve been away a lot, although I did see plenty of Irish Marsh Orchids in Western Ireland last week. I’m enjoying your images immensely
'A Dartmoor Springtime'

My new relaxing nature video about springtime on Dartmoor. No clickbait or hero music nonsense, just quality field recordings of moorland, woodlands and hilltops. Enjoy...

@KeepPhotography@CanonUKandIE@GoDartmoor@dartmoornpa@dartmoormag Thanks David. It was a hell of a lot of work, being the first time I have ever shot video, so I am very pleased with the result. Confirms that the only limit these days is your own imagination. We have everything we need already.
No mistaking this UK orchid - the coastal form of Early Marsh Orchid (Dactylorhiza incarnata var. coccinea). They glow exceptionally in the June sunshine - these ones are from a magical visit to Brauntons Burrows on 11.06.23.
Lovely to see over 40 Pyramidal Orchids (Anacamptis pyramidalis ) including one white one at Dawlish Warren tonight. Mostly scorched by the sun but numbers up on last year. Marsh Helleborine (Epipactis palustris) starting to flower ... @ukorchids@WarrenBirding
Wow...surprised to find Marsh Helleborine (Epipactis palustris) and Marsh Fragrant (Gymnadenia densiflora) Orchids flowering already in East Devon. Summer is here! 😎 @ukorchids@VincentBlood7
@MarkDowie@ukorchids@BSBIbotany Just drove past the Wiltshire ones tonight and they’re in poor shape. Really small in comparison and only one spike. Bee Orchids I found we’re also really small, must be the lack of water?
