The population of these rare farmland birds is almost entirely found in south Devon, as the UK is the very limit of their European range. This particular cirl bunting was spotted at Dawlish Warren on Christmas Day. 🎄

Squid eggs washed ashore! 🦑 These gelatinous, white tubes hold thousands of tiny eggs, laid by a female squid. Storms can dislodge them, bringing this unique sight to beaches like Dawlish Warren.
