For all sorts of reasons we’re currently restricted to @SkyNews in the morning and @KayBurley While hoping for incisive interviewing of politicians I do not welcome or appreciate rudeness and constant references to MY viewers. I watch @SkyNews NOT @KayBurley Story first please
Interesting programme from @jamieoliver but how irritating is the constant repetition of ‘little bit of …” or “little” - once you’re conscious of this, you’ll hear nothing else sadly. Had to go in the other room!
@OctopusEnergy I managed to send in a gas reading which was seriously in errs by a factor of 10! This was a combination of competence and poor eyesight ! I’ve written 3 times asking for guidance but received no reply. I’ve also asked for a smart meter previously - no reply! Help
@LeeMason5@StanCollymore I cheered @StanCollymore and I want nothing to do with this loutish disrespectful mob. Good on you Stan for an honest, principled and heartfelt post
I actually thought Sunak would be better than Johnson and Truss. How could he possibly be worse? He’s giving it a great go. He’s a nothing of a Prime Minister. Frightened to death to make a decision, no control at all of his Home Secretary who is mad and dangerous , ex Johnson and Truss loyalists have got him right where they want him and he has no instinctive leadership qualities at all so comes across as a robot micro managed within an inch of his life. He’s not enjoying this at all and I suspect he wants out deep down but needs to save face somehow. He should either resign or call a general election at the earliest opportunity to salvage some sort of respect. All of the other main players from this 13 years of mess have already navigated a way to find their next roles and jobs . He should too 👋
@afneil The clue is in the word: “inflation”. Prices continue to rise, albeit at an infinitesimal slower rate. Can’t you remember your lessons on compound interest in primary school? Same principle.
Come on @RishiSunak@BBCNews@SkyNews@itvnews et al Let’s not perpetuate this nonsense about reduction in inflation as an achievement worth boasting about. Prices are still going up and reducing our real buying power, but not as quickly. A slow avoidable death is still a death
We saw sea birds and particularly pelicans engulfing huge fish: yet, sometimes they have issues too. This man in Florida saved a pelican choking badly on a huge fish which had a double-sided hook which stuck into the pelican

@cleckylad Don’t rule out the possibility that he might say something of note sometime in the future … unlikely but a knighthood might be the making of him
So we have a racist and fascist @Conservatives government that has two policies to repair the woes it has visited upon us for the last 13 years: stop the boats and stop @GaryLineker and in @BBC has a willing mouthpiece for its policy enforcement. Pathetic, shameful…
It was Home Secretary Suella Braverman NOT Gary Lineker who first invoked parallels with 1930s Germany with the phrase “invading our shores”. On impartiality, a fair question would be: Who’s doing most perceived damage to the BBC’s reputation the BBC Top Brass or its Presenters?
@RishiSunak I’m wondering @RishiSunak@Conservatives how many refugees in N France etc are reading this tweet and thinking “Best not go then …”. Your campaign is simply opportunist rhetoric for home consumption. Slogan heavy, content light.
@LeroySkeete I both agree wholeheartedly with what @GaryLineker has said but also his right to say it. It is astonishing and dismaying that so many @Conservatives fail to see extreme irony with their apparent willingness and eagerness to suppress criticism of their fascist racist policy
@WustFred A fascist racist dog whistling and extreme Xenophobic policy which is fundamentally administratively flawed solely designed by the @Conservatives to cling to power for powers sake. Disgusting
