I was so happy to see how many people have had similar experiences when accidentally forgetting an item on the train. (I don't meant happy about y'all forgetting something; happy it was safely recovered!) It's more of a shared cultural experience than I thought!

"You can't handle the truth!" and "I want to believe." are both pretty famous quotes. You'd be surprised how often native speakers use quotes from movies or TV shows in daily conversation.

Today is the 20th anniversary of my moving to Japan. It's hard to believe that two entire decades have passed! But it has been amazing every step of the way.
Hmmm...I wonder if they'll let me join the next Coming of Age Ceremony....
