@iam_biglad1 Benefits is another reason people no longer have full time jobs. I watched a company I worked for take a full time position and replace it with two part time positions, then brag about the increased hiring. All while executives got big bonuses!
@jsolomonReports Somebody want to explain the 10-year drought that preceded the dust bowl years of the dirty thirties, that occurred in a preindustrial world?
Since it could not have been man made global warming, it was just natural weather variability.
Next explain the cyclical ice ages!
NEVER FORGET.
“The COVID vaccine is 100% effective!”
“Okay, it’s 99% effective.”
“Okay, it’s 90% effective.”
“Okay, it’s 70% effective.”
“Okay, it’s only 50% effective.”
“Okay, it’s only 33% effective.”
“Okay, you need a booster.”
“Okay, you need 2 boosters.”
“Okay, the vaccine injured some people.”
“Okay, the vaccine was completely ineffective, injured tons of people, and killed some people.”
Anthony Fauci lied to all of us.
Senator Rand Paul has subpoenaed Anthony Fauci to force him to testify before the Senate in July after Fauci refused to cooperate voluntarily.
Fauci must face prosecution for his crimes against humanity...
@ApatheticNo@SenSanders Oh it’s even worse than that. NGO’s sending billions in dark money to fund politicians and SuperPACs.
It’s why we must strip federal funding from all charities. It’s just a giant money laundering scam.
@SenSanders It’s true that poor people exist. Some honestly have physical disabilities, some have mental illness, others simply have a low IQ.
What we do not believe is that the vast majority of the poor fit that description. People have freedom and agency in their lives. Use it wisely!
@BladeoftheS Unions should be reserved for jobs that when done wrong can get you killed. Think mining, electric line workers, gas service workers.
Unions got their start in the coal mines to protect against unsafe working conditions. Having unions to protect wages shouldn’t be its function.
@DutchRojas I just retired at 56. My healthcare consists of a high $5,000 deductible medical share plan, at $207 a month, a concierge primary care doctor at $95 a month, and a gym membership at $15!
So for $317 a month I’m covered.
@BiatchDulce Your labor either has value or it doesn’t. You and the market gets to decide that. Not the government. You get to decide if the wage is acceptable to you and if not to find another employer willing to pay what you think you are worth.
@BiatchDulce What business is it of the government to dictate wages in the first place?
We didn’t have them 250 years ago. We don’t need them now.
Besides the minimum wage is effectively dead already. $15 to $20 per hour is the new normal for entry level. Nobody shows up for less.
@omgsidewalks Besides we do not have a pure free market capitalist system. Our federal government has overtaken education, healthcare to name a few troubling trends.
