【4月18日・19日はアイスホッケー日韓戦】

みなさんご無沙汰しております。三浦優希です。掲題の通り、
4月18日(土)14時〜at東伏見
4月19日(日)14時〜at新横浜
にて、アイスホッケー日本代表対韓国代表のエキシビションマッチが行われます。

この日韓戦に向けた思いを書きたいと思うので少々お付き合いください。

まず、男子アイスホッケーチームが東京や横浜で国際試合をすることは、本当に何十年ぶり、というレベルではないかと思います(少なくとも、僕の記憶にはないです…詳しい方ぜひ教えてください 笑)

先日連盟から公式発表のあった通り、今回の国内合宿メンバーに私は選出していただきました。合宿の内容やチーム状況次第なのでどうなるかは分かりませんが、私も日韓戦に出場できるチャンスがあります。

もちろん国内合宿および日韓戦の最大の目標・目的は、5月の世界選手権で優勝しトップディジョンに昇格することです。

あくまで日韓戦はその前のテストマッチ兼エキシビション、という位置付けかとは思いますが、実は個人的には、これほどないと言っていいくらい、ワクワクしています。自分のホッケー人生で一番心が躍る瞬間になるのでは、と思っています。

前述のように男子代表が首都圏で試合をするということ自体、相当レアです。

その上で、自分自身が小さい頃から何度も練習や試合で使用してきた東伏見や新横浜のリンクで、日本代表のユニフォームを着て戦える。そしてその姿を、家族、友人ファンの皆様に見ていただけるという機会は、本当に本当に貴重だと思います。

幼い頃から何度も通ったリンクに、日の丸を背負って立てるチャンスがあるということ自体、僕のアイスホッケー人生において最大のイベントの一つと断言できます。

10代から海外に出てしまっていた身として、家族や友人、ファンの皆様に直接プレイを見ていただける機会が、高校以来ほぼ一度もありませんでした。

自分の地元で、日本代表選手として、大切な方々が見にきてくれる環境で、国際試合に出れる、というこの事実。

これほど選手冥利に尽きる出来事は、そうそう訪れないと思います。(繰り返しになりますが、私が試合に出れるかどうかはまだ確定していません 笑)

今後もこの素晴らしいイベントが定期的に行われることを願いつつも、もしかしたら僕にとってこんな素敵な機会は、一生に一度、最初で最後のチャンスかもしれません。

これまでずっと応援をしてくださってきた方々の目の前でプレイさせていただけるかもしれない、本当に最高の舞台です。

だからこそ、ぜひ1人でも多くの方に、現地で観戦をしてほしいです。

これは決して僕を見てほしいということではなく、アイスホッケー日本代表チームが首都圏で国際試合を行う、というこの機会をぜひ見逃さないでほしい、ということです。

もちろんエキシビションかもしれないし、世界選手権に向けて怪我などをしてしまっては元も子もないので、いろんな考えの選手がいて全く問題ないと思っていますが、少なくとも僕は、自分が出れるのであれば、2試合とも死ぬ気で戦います。

両試合とも出たいという、誰よりも強い思いを持っているし、実際に出場が叶うのであれば、全身全霊を持ってプレイすることを約束します。

だって、こんな機会本当にこの先ないかもしれないです。日本代表のユニフォームを着て、自分が育った場所で試合ができる。選手として、これほど幸せな舞台は滅多に訪れないでしょう。

もう少し話すと(書き始めると止まらなくなる普段の症状です)、本来であれば僕の所属するHeartlandersのシーズンは、日韓戦の行われる18日がレギュラーシーズン最終週です。

ただ、今回は事情をチーム側にも説明し、1週間早くアイオワを離れ、代表チームに合流することを認めてもらいました。今週末のホーム3連戦を終えた後、直接苫小牧に向けて出発し、国内合宿に合流します。

今回の世界選手権に賭ける思いは本当に強いし、本戦メンバーに選んでいただけるのであれば、絶対に勝ちたいと思っています。

そのために、1日でも早く代表チームと合流したいという想いから、この選択をしました。

日韓戦も世界選手権本戦も、チャンスをもらえたのであれば僕は同じ熱量で戦います。

ただのエキシビションマッチなんて思ってないし、やるからには2試合絶対に勝ちたいし、そのために全てを出し切るプレイをお見せすることを約束します(再三の繰り返しになりますが、出れたらの話 笑)

僕が出ようが出まいが、素晴らしい機会であることには間違いありません。

ぜひ、ご家族・お友達・パートナーなど周りの方々をお誘いの上、試合会場にお越しいただければ幸いです。
