Every MP of every governing party in history has been 3-line whipped on the Kings Speech, and any amendments. If Starmer didn’t discipline, he’d be called weak and lacking control of his MPs.

@FaddesWilliam @barbedquill Most of the time we won’t go. Unless it’s fast flowing water and it’s above the waist, all we do is tell people to abandon the car and wade to dry ground. 99% of the calls of this exact situation are not attended by any fire service.
