After two hours of Brick Top terrorizing everyone around him, SNATCH (2000) finally turns the tables. The shotgun payoff later is just the icing on the cake.

Charlie Sheen says he took steroids for 6 weeks and added 10 MPH to his fastball for Major League
“It was David Ward who directed it and wrote it. He won the Oscar for The Sting when he was like 22. Really smart, funny, good dude, and a huge baseball fan”
“I had one meeting with him and he was like, ‘Well, you pitched in high school’”
“I said, ‘Yeah. You can film me in a full windup. That I guarantee. But I can't throw 98 or 100 mph or I'd be doing it for a living. I can probably get you somewhere in the mid 80s’”
“So I did a bunch of steroids because I was only throwing like 76 mph at the time. I had this trainer, a guy who was a running back at BYU, and he knew a guy that could get steroids. It literally put 10 mph on my fastball in six weeks”
The elevator fight in DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE (1995) is pure John McClane. By that point he’s battered, exhausted, and running on fumes, which makes every punch feel twice as hard. One of those action scenes that hurts in all the right ways.

Here’s the video of the exchange between @FriedgeHNIC and John Tortorella about the end of Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night.
As a fan of the NHL and NBA, this was incredible 🤣
Amazing question by @FriedgeHNIC.

MMA FIGHTER into action mid-flight: It was Josh Longood, a former professional MMA fighter, jumped into action on a Frontier flight from Puerto Rico to Chicago when a passenger assaulted a flight attendant and tried to open an emergency exit door.
He said: "You board a flight from Puerto Rico to Chicago and end up having to restrain and tie up a guy who attacked a flight attendant and tried opening emergency doors…
After these pics, he slipped the ties, so I had to hold him down until our emergency landing in Miami. Luckily, I’m a light sleeper and was only a row away when everything went down.
Glad everyone made it home safely. Hoping my next flight is significantly more boring"
