The United States is blocking 7,000 containers of medicine, food, and resources for water and energy from reaching Cuba. The US threatens to freeze assets of entities providing support to Cuba.

This violates Article 33 of Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits collective punishment—this’s a blatant violation of international law and a crime against humanity.

The US embargo cruelly cut off all fuel and humanitarian aid, power is out, leaving hospitals without electricity. Dialysis patients, babies in NICU, and others will die. Food is rotting. Water pumps stopped working. Systems are breaking down, strangled by the US embargo.

She is an American-Palestinian university student.
