Storm Shadow is a good description as it indicates that it's stealthy and not seen but strikes like a tempest.

Still one of the best long range strike weapons against hardened structures. Its tandem warhead blasts its way through 16ft + of reinforced concrete and the second charge destroys anything inside.

Keir Starmer has already shown that he does not have the credibility for defence. What is needed with change in geopolitics is a strong person who will say what needs to be said.

There are some very strong candidates for the next NATO Secretary General within Europe. Ben Wallace, Kaja Kallas, Radek Sikorski, Alexander Stubb.

@davidpugliese This is the usual weasel words from the U.S administration. The Gripen E is perfectly capable of communicating within NORAD as it is within NATO in a mixed fleet with a ratio of 30 F-35’s to 75 Gripen’s.

The biggest mistake was certainly having a referendum and not setting the percentage majority to 70% needed to implement any result.

Afterwards when it went through with such a small majority, many of my military and defence contacts in Europe, indicated that their own countries would never have implemented Brexit with such a small majority.

Two things that would provide the funds for defence.

1. Block the £22B that has been allocated to the carbon capture project which is unproven technology and uses vast amounts of power.

2. Reopen North Sea drilling and taxing the revenues would help to pay for defence. It would also give 10 years grace to build nuclear power stations.

The gas would be used to drive combined cycle gas turbine stations that run very efficiently and there are 35 still in operation. It would also save on the current operating costs because we are buy most of our gas from Norway, at inflated prices taken from the same North Sea field.

It's not everyday that easyJet's COO flies from @LDNLutonAirport wearing a military flight suit. ✈️

But today we're paying tribute to those who balance civilian careers with service to our country.

This is very good news for Estonia and NATO Europe's Eastern flank.

The IRIS-T SLM is a very agile and highly effective air defence system with a range up to 40 km. It can take down fast jets, helicopters and cruise missiles up to an altitude of 66,000ft.

It's classed as a short to medium range system that has been well proven in Ukraine and more countries in Europe should purchase it.

It can of course take down drones, but would be a waste of missiles when there many cheaper alternative systems.
