It was the night before Christmas - fabulous Guinness in the Swan Cockermouth. Tremendous beverage, absolutely top notch. Score for presentation, ambience, domeage and sctick s chart topping 8.34198/10
Maryport Magic - festive taste off of 6 west coast boozers. Pubs visited included the; Sailors Return, Life Boat, Thomas Henry, Butchers Arms, Tap Tavern and the Labour club. The winner of the best pint was the Sailors Return with an 8.145/10, but all pubs top class.
Bootiful Bransty - festive Guinness in Spoons Whitehaven. A body language expert would have a field day with this picture. Overall score for domeage and schtick an Xmastastic 7.892/10
Skiddaw Hotel Keswick - with some trepidation I had my first pint of Guinness 0.0. It wasn’t half bad, an acceptable alternative if you are mugged off and have to drive. Not scored cos it not the real McCoy. #guinness
Winter Epiphany - tremendous Guinness served at the Borrowdale hotel by Kevin. Great domeage and long lasting schtick. A well deserved 8.283/10 #the_borrowdale
Creamy Goodness- look at that domeage!! Great Guinness at the Swan Cockermouth. It’s clear that pub look after their beer and care that it is poured properly. An upper decile 8.247/10
By George that was OK - the pour looked perfect, the barman was chipper and expectations were high at the George Keswick. Alas the pint died on me 6.719//10
Bavarian Gut Wrencher - saw a sign for draft Guinness in a biker bar in Germany. BIG MISTAKE - worst pint ever and this justifies are departure from the EU. A lowly 2.143/10. Scored only because the correct glass used.
Bettyhill Beauty - celebratory Guinness in Sutherland at the Bettyhill Hotel after catching this scopping Brown Trout in a tiny Lochan nearby. Fab-u-Lous!! The drink 7.767/10 - lacked depth
Blencathra Beverage - cheeky Guinness at the White Horse - Threlkeld, following a 12 mile death march in the Northern Fells. It ended all smiles after the quaffing of an upper quartile drink 7.619/10
Super, Smashing, Lovely - a gradely Guinness at the Falls Hotel Aysgarth North Yorkshire. The Guinness hit the bulls eye on a beautiful sunny day. A satisfying 7.568/10.
New Inn - Clovelly. Fabulous Guinness in North Devon. Clovelly is a lovely preserved village, albeit a bit touristy, the beverage was fab. Clare delighted to become a part of the award winning Twitter story. 8.169/10
