@GregAbbott_TX Governor Greg Abbott, numerous conservative governors have publicly rejected the celebration of Pride Month and have chosen instead to emphasize the importance of the family as ordained by God. As Texans who hold to biblical convictions, we’ve seen nothing from your office on this issue. Will Texas take a clear stand in support of faith, family, and the biblical understanding of marriage and the family?
What time is it? ITS CHURCH TIME!!!
Psalms 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalms 23:6
Today is the 75th anniversary of the official National Day of Prayer—first established by Congress at the height of the Cold War.
It reaffirms each year something that's vital and goes straight to the heart of who we are as Americans: we have always been a praying nation. It is truly part of who we are.
Our children (ages 4–13) shared Psalm 42 tonight at a East Texas Family Conference, and we are so proud of them. Hiding God’s Word in young hearts is planting seeds of faith for life. Take a moment to listen and be encouraged by these young voices. #Psalm42#Faith#Family
Moreiver, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
I Corinthians 15:1-7
Governor Greg Abbott directed Texas state agencies to investigate any potential child care funding fraud.
Taxpayer dollars must be protected. Any misuse of child care funds will not be tolerated in Texas.

Today is custom designed by the Sovereign hand of God, yet entrusted to the free will of men. Will we rejoice in God's goodness or be ruled by life’s frustrations?
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24).

I’m so grateful for our @FairparkBaptist Church family and their faithfulness in sharing the Gospel
One of our new members, recently saved, sent me a photo, saying God moved himto place these tracts on the table of his event.

I am no match for the devil, but the devil is no match for my Jesus. Stay in the fight! Victory is already secured through Christ. Remember, "greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1John 4:4). #Faith#Jesus#SpiritualVictory#Encouragement

TRUE WORSHIP
Worship built on the emotional will be sentimental and changeable. Worship that is only intellectual will be formal and analytical. But worship as a response to biblical truth is both joyful and transformative! True worship brings the whole spirit, soul, and body into submission to God’s holy presence.
Lord, help us to be true worshippers who worship you “in spirit and in truth.”
"in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; but hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour" (Titus 1:2-3).
May God manifest His Word to you today.
470 years ago today—October 16, 1555—Hugh Latimer and Nicholas Ridley were burned at the stake in Oxford, England, for proclaiming salvation through Christ alone. (The cross in the street marks the place where they gave their lives.)
As the flames were lit, Latimer said, “Be of good comfort, Master Ridley…we shall this day light such a candle, by God’s grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.”
God used their sacrifice to spread the light of the gospel throughout Europe. Today's generation needs men and women with the same unwavering commitment to Christ and courage to stand for His truth.
Happy Heavenly Birthday, @charliekirk11 ! Thanks for giving the stirring call: "Let's Make Heaven Crowded!" You are enjoying the best birthday ever. May we who remain have renewed hope, inspired passion and deeper resolve for the Gospel of Jesus Christ! https://t.co/ixCSYcLXJG
Preach the Word with the passion of a man on fire for the Word of God and the souls of men.
"...But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay" (Jeremiah 20:9).
BROTHERS DON’T ALWAYS AGREE.
If a man contradicts what God says in His Word, he is to be marked and avoided. But if a man merely differs from “what I think,” he is to be loved and treated with humility. Only the Father is always right! The way we respond as brothers when we disagree is an indicator of the place the Lord Jesus Christ has in our own hearts.
JC Ryle, in writing about debated positions among sincere believers, said, “…Let us exercise charity in our judgments of one another…If they do good, I am thankful. Towards myself and those who agree with me, I ask them to feel charity in return. The last day will show who is right and who is wrong. In the meantime, I am quite certain that to exhibit bitterness and coldness towards those who cannot conscientiously work with us is to prove ourselves very ignorant of real holiness.”
Purity of doctrine AND peaceableness among believers are evidences of divine wisdom. Purity without peace is the mark of a Pharisee. Peace without purity is the mark of compromise. May God give us the wisdom to hold strong Bible convictions with the soft heart of brotherly compassion.
“But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace” (James 3:14-18).
It pleases the Heavenly Father when His children on earth love one another.
