@benjitaylor This is great - thanks for sharing. I'm trying to offload animations from After Effects+Lottie to a ground-up AI-made tool with presets and just enough flexibility for our new icon set @Superhuman. This will be a great input!

Strokes — A simple drawing app for iPad with layers, a timeline, and Lottie export. I built it so I could add hand-drawn logo animations to my website.

Next milestone: clean up the bugs and submit to the App Store 🤞

Over the years, I've half-built iOS apps in Objective-C and SwiftUI but could never get them across the finish line. Fast forward to 2025, and with the advent of AI and CLI tools, those hill climbs are so much easier now.

Coffee Caddy — An app that finds nearby coffee shops via the Google Places API, with insights and menu extraction powered by Claude.

@AdamWhitcroft That's right, no app output. Admittedly I'm replying to your tweet with a slightly unrelated question/point 😅 I've been curious about designers opinions on SwiftUI at this point. I can see how amazing it is but feel like it's still overkill even for advanced prototyping purposes
