Living alone is actually very risky.
What if something happens to you and no one knows? Your neighbours might just assume you’re inside your house resting, working, or that you’ve travelled. Days could pass before anyone realizes that something is wrong.
Imagine not having anyone who checks in on you regularly. No one calling to ask if you’ve eaten. No random “Have you gotten home?” text. No one noticing that you’ve gone unusually quiet.
It made me realize that beyond love, companionship is also about care, presence, and having someone who notices when you’re not okay.
So this is my public service announcement: leave that “I’m enjoying my single life” agenda small and get yourself a partner today.
It is unconstitutional for NYSC to continue dispatching young people on a journey of no return. It potentially violates the right
to life guaranteed under Section 33 of the 1999 Constitution.
With the spate of insecurity in every corner of Nigeria, posting corpers to states, other than their states of residence, is tantamount to signing their death warrants while still alive.
In the coming weeks, I may be compelled to approach a court of competent jurisdiction to challenge this continuous violation of human rights. I will chronicle the number of corpers deaths and abductions experienced owing to insecurity in this country. The killings are avoidable and the NYSC program must stop all together till the country is safe.
Now, the Suit is not just about me. I have served this country in khaki, some years ago. My fight for corpers is more about the future of this country and the sanctity of human life.
If you come across this on your timeline, kindly help with a repost. I still need brand collaborations. Suggestions, referrals, and introductions would also be greatly appreciated.
At his most obese Luka never looked this mid in a playoff run..because he’s just better at basketball than the back to back MVP whether y’all like it or not.
This app is becoming oversaturated with takes on SGA. Here's the only take that matters:
SGA is a superstar with zero star power. Even if you ignore his disgusting amount of flopping: He doesn't provide above the rim highlights like LeBron/Jordan. He doesn't provide insane 3 pointers like Steph. He doesn't provide crazy defensive highlights like Wemby. Even his assists are the most boring & basic passes imaginable.
Much like Tom Brady, SGA's career goes against everything that makes sports great. A player doesn't deserve MVPs when their team is still great without them. A player doesn't deserve rings or Finals MVPs when their performance consistently falls off a cliff in the playoffs. Perhaps someday SGA will prove this wrong by raising his game in the playoffs, but at this moment and time, it's the truth.
Ultimately, the worst thing about SGA isn't his flopping, it's how he's a reminder that even in sports, you can get farther by being lucky than you can on your own merit.

In Nigeria today, some tenants believe that once a yearly tenancy expires, they are automatically entitled to remain in the property free of charge during the six month notice period.😂😂😂
One of my client’s tenants recently told me she has the right to stay in her apartment for “six good months free of charge!” simply because she is a yearly tenant. 😂😂 This kind of half-knowledge of the law is one of the reasons some tenants unnecessarily frustrate their landlords. 6 months free rent ke?
While it is true that tenancy laws generally require a 6 month quit notice for yearly tenants, that period is meant to give the tenant sufficient time to secure alternative accommodation and not to live rent-free. Tenants are still obligated to pay rent for any period they remain in possession of the property.
The lack of legal education among many Nigerians is becoming increasingly obvious. Although this lack of awareness may sometimes benefit lawyers professionally, it also has serious downsides. Many disputes would never get to court if people properly understood their rights, obligations, and the limits of those rights.
A society where citizens are better informed about the law is often more peaceful and orderly. Landlords and tenants would relate more responsibly, unnecessary conflicts would reduce, and courts would not be overwhelmed with avoidable cases.
Legal awareness does not diminish the importance of lawyers; rather, it helps promote justice, peace, order, and healthier relationships within society.
Thank you.

Sometime last year, while watching a Manchester United game, there was a break in transmission of about 10 to 20 minutes. This was a match that was integral to our qualification to the next stage of the game. It left me in a state of utmost apprehension.
I quickly checked the mobile app of the cable TV and the same problem persisted.
I had used and abandoned 2 decoders in the past due to repeated increase in the subscription fee and lack of corresponding value or change in service quality.
My most recent decoder was purchased when I saw an advert by the cable TV promising "uninterrupted" viewing. I decided to give it one last shot.
You can imagine my disappointment when despite the advert and representation that made me get a new decoder, there was a break in transmission of up to 20 minutes while the primary aim of subscription was going on.
I sued the cable TV.
I'm happy to state that today, the FCT High Court delivered a well-considered judgement in David Ogundipe v Multichoice Nigeria Ltd. His lordship found merit in my suit and held that indeed, there was a breach of contract to afford me uninterrupted viewing.
I was represented by my colleague, O.E Oluwadamisi, Esq. Again, this decision validates our approach to law practice at Earnest Attorneys LP - to use law as a tool of social engineering and to push matters that advance the cause of the common man.
My faith in the judiciary is unshaken and I will not stop at anything to enforce my rights when such is breached by any private person or institution.
We cannot advance the society by law if we all have our eyes on transactions that are in billions and millions. We must tailor law practice in a manner that serves both the highs and the lows.
