A Drinking Song
By William Butler Yeats
Wine comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That’s all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
I look at you, and I sigh.
I used to be critical of that. But skilled presenters needed to do that to compete with younger colleagues and image. In my line of work, in the 30 years in that career we had to continuously take courses to keep up. Same thing. We do what the job demands. Got to pay the rent. You are beautiful. You be you.

@elonmusk The Islamization of Texas is particularly disturbing. Why Texas?
These are all mosques pinned on Google Maps, zoomed in and out to help you perceive their immense density
Your heart should breaking as you read this. Because you all need to realize something about Usha Vance Karoline Leavitt Jennifer Hegseth and Jeanette Rubio These four women right now are each carrying something that most people will never fully understand. Usha Vance pregnant with her fourth child baby boy coming in July and JD chose no formal leave. She is home. Alone. Counting the days. While her husband carries America. Karoline Leavitt who stood at the most powerful podium in America for 39 weeks pregnant never missed a single day. Came back to work four days after having baby Niko. And today holds baby Vivi knowing another briefing is always just around the corner. Jennifer Hegseth who holds seven children together every single time Pete boards that plane. Every deployment. Every trip. Every morning the kids ask where dad is. She answers. Alone. And Jeanette Rubio who has watched her husband cross three continents in one week away from her away from their children for a country that may never fully know her name.
Four women. Four completely different sacrifices. One identical truth. They never asked America to see them. They never posted about what it costs. They never once made it about themselves. They just held everything together. Quietly. Completely. So their husbands could hold America. And today we just need every American to stop for one moment. And say something these four women have waited too long to hear. Thank you. Not for your husbands. For you. For everything you carry that nobody films.
God cover Usha. Cover Karoline. Cover Jennifer. Cover Jeanette. And remind every one of them America sees you. Even on the days it forgets to say it. Make sure to repost this today. Because these women deserve to be seen.

This is Irish dancing, it’s known around the world as part of Ireland’s culture, its history, its heritage.
We’re not just going to bow down to the EU and hand that culture over to African migrants who can’t even speak English never mind Irish.
They’ve bitten off more than they can chew in Ireland, there’s a lot of fight left in our little country. Don’t count the Irish out just yet ☘️🇮🇪

THE HOUSE SHOULD TRIGGER THE EXPULSION PROCESS AGAINST JAMIE RASKIN
Jamie Raskin is already leading a plot to impeach the President if the Democrats take the House. He led the prior two impeachments against the President, has pushed for his resignation in the past, also was involved in twisting the 14th Amendment to ban candidate Trump for ballots, objected to electoral college votes for Trump in the first election, and was a member of the Pelosi January 6 Committee that, among other things, destroyed records before the GOP took over the House.
Republicans should move to expel Jamie Raskin from the House. If he can continue to abuse our constitutional system and undermine our electoral process (ironic, since he blames Trump and Republicans for doing so), having led every effort described above, then take the necessary steps to charge him under the expulsion clause.
Under Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the Constitution, each House of Congress may “punish its Members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two‑thirds, expel a member." It's true that it is highly unlikely two-thirds of the House would vote for his expulsion, but the Senate will never muster the two-thirds vote required to convict and remove a president, either. That doesn't stop Raskin and his ilk from acting and putting the president through the process. I can think of no other way to push back against this kind of abuse of the impeachment clause by Raskin and the Democrats.

My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
Mayor of Charlotte, NC asks that we not post about this lady murdered on a Charlotte train by a repeat offender with 14 prior arrests
We say in Iryna’s memory please share and make this go viral! A repeat offender with 14 prior arrests should not be roaming the streets of ANY city! They should be locked up!! Epic failure in the justice system..
We will never forgot angel iryna
‼️MY REACTION TO @McJuggerNuggets TURNING HIS ABORTION DECISION INTO CONTENT:
The one thing missing from the discussion was the person.
The child.
The human being at the center of it all.
And I couldn't stop thinking about something.
What would a person with Down syndrome think reading that tweet?
Having children is one of the most selfless acts a human being can undertake.
You are voluntarily accepting uncertainty.
The entire journey of parenthood is an exercise in loving someone whose future you cannot control.
That's the deal.
But somewhere along the way we've started treating children like consumer products.
We ask whether the child fits our plans.
Whether the child matches our expectations.
Whether the child will provide the experience we envisioned.
And when a diagnosis arrives that changes those expectations, the conversation often becomes about whether the child still meets the standard.
That isn't parenthood.
That's consumerism.
And then there is one final thing I can't shake.
The need to announce it.
Not to close friends.
Not to family.
To the entire world.
To a bunch of strangers online.
Maybe that's the part that disturbs me most.
Because we've entered a strange moment in our culture.
Every private experience must become content.
Every tragedy becomes a post.
Every intimate decision becomes engagement.
Every deeply personal moment becomes public consumption.
And I found myself wondering:
Was today the day that aborting your child became content?
As Christians, we believe every person is made in the image of God.
Every person.
Join me tonight in praying for both this couple, and the sweet soul that they sent to Heaven way too early.
I was told if we talk about abortion (a controversial topic), our account will get suppressed.
I won't stop advocating for the babies' right to life, so I will post in the void if I have to. Who gives a shit about post impressions? Speak the truth, always. Don't play the censorship game!
As I explained in my summation speech on the SAVE America Act during tonight’s vote-a-rama, when we fail to stop noncitizens from voting, we deprive U.S. citizens of their sacred right to vote.
Enough delay.
Enough distraction.
Enough excuses.
Pass the SAVE America Act.
