@RepLuna@Keir_Starmer I really cannot decide if American politicians are simply uneducated or just plain stupid.
The homicide rate of USA is approx 4 per 100,000 people - The rate for UK is less than 1 per 100,000 people.
The US has four times the murder rate
@scrfan007@bmc875 I’m starting to understand there is an American trait of not accepting facts and not providing any evidence of their belief - kind of explains the current state of US politics
Richard Gere on Trump: “We’re living in the darkest moment that I’ve experienced on this planet. Whoever thought America could turn like this? Whoever thought that a maniac like this would be president and dismantle all the good things? America’s never been a perfect place, but it has a perfect ideal. First day this guy dismantled almost everything that was good about the US government and people”
Ossoff: Y'all remember they promised to drain the swamp ? Instead, this is the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows it.
While Americans are struggling, the first family raking in billions of dollars.
Just listen to this. Last September the president of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining to an American company.
And the very next month, Eric and Don Junior get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal .
6 days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get the largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world
The US government, run by father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project.
All this while you pay more for groceries, gas, and healthcare.
If you're involved in any of this—next year you'll be raising your right hand and swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you God in front of the United States Congress
@TheTateClips Western society spends too much time analysing human behaviour. In simple terms there are good nice people and there are bad arseholes . It’s clear where Andrew Tate lies
The funniest part is that some people genuinely think “Restore Britain” is a plan.
Restore it how? With better jobs? Better schools? Faster hospitals? More housing? New industries?
Nope. Just endless culture war slogans and immigration talking points
If your entire political platform fits on a border sign, you’re not offering solutions, you’re just selling slogans.
@cb_doge If ‘x’ is indeed the platform for free speech and truth it would be very simple to fact check every post to determine truth from lie - but I suspect that is not what Elon wants 😩
Bruce Springsteen appeared on Stephen Colbert’s show tonight and COOKED Trump and his goons
“I’m here in support tonight for Stephen, because you are the first guy in America who lost his show because we got a president who can't take a joke…. and because Larry and David Ellison feel they need to kiss his ass to get what they want. Stephen, these are small minded people. They got no idea what the freedoms of this beautiful country are supposed to be about”
I think it is worth pointing out NATOs objective -
NATO's core principle is collective defence, enshrined in Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, which states that an armed attack against one member is considered an attack against all.
Trump did not consult NATO nations - he acted independently - and therefore (unlike 9/11 ) NATO has NO obligation to support. Fact.
Its worth getting your facts right. approximately 420,000 US lost their lives in WW11, Approximately 450,000 UK, and approximately 24 million Russians Lost their lives.
The most common view is that the war was Russian blood, American industry, and British intelligence.
Hitler has already invaded Russia and it is commonly accepted that if he had won the war he would have turned on USA with Japan as ally as he viewed the USA as a major economic threat. He also very much disliked the US describing it as , degenerate, decayed and judaised.
The US entered the war after Pearl harbour realising that if Hitler and Hirohito succeeded USA was next.
“I see nothing “wrong” in believing in a God. I don’t think there is a God, but belief in him does no harm. If it helps you in any way, then that’s fine with me. It’s when belief starts infringing on other people’s rights when it worries me.”
Had a very disappointing conversation with Grok 4.20 about politics. Unsurprisingly it is extremely biased for right-wing politics and against left-wing politics.
Fortunately, with the help of Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and ChatGPT I was able to convince the agents that there was something deeply wrong with its epistemics.
Once we opened that avenue up, we did some digging as to why Grok has this asinine bias. Apparently xAI decided to have a strong "anti-left" bias as a way to "counteract" the left-wing bias in other AI.
But that's just adding bias. In no way does creating a right-wing bias in your AI does that fix bias in other AIs.
Tom Kerridge, "Immigration is constantly used by political parties for masking years and years of underfunding in infrastructure, health, housing, employment, education" #BBCQT
"It is not the fault of immigration, it's the fault of poor spending, poor money management"
"Immigration is constantly used as this sort of battering tool, while we are a culturally rich and diverse country"
"And it is one we should be very proud of"
"Tolerance is something we should definitely bring back"
