@q_slavic Not really. The library declined over the centuries and by the time it was burned it almost had ceased to exist. Copies of the contents existed in other libraries. And much of what was lost wasn't history but poems and lesser-known works of literature, philosophy, etc.
@logos_asarkos Not at all. We're commanded to be baptized and to do other good works prepared in advance for us. Everything we do doesn't have to be for the purpose of salvation.
@Sacramentshow Mary is the mother of the Son of God become flesh. To say she's the mother of God is to say she's the mother of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. She isn't.
@MikeNellis Democrats will look you dead in the eye and tell you that you should feed other people's kids who refuse to feed their own kids. Then tax you to do just that, look the other way when people defraud the program, take their own cut, then put the rest into some other pet project.
@ChrisGeorgeBerg@HabitualLinest@BaptistClips You call it a work of God but it's something we do. There's no getting away from that. John 6:29 says that the work of God is to believe in the one he has sent.
