@Mid30sManhattan As someone living in the region deeply impacted by these fires, it’s disheartening to see your rhetoric.
It’s a vast wilderness up here. There is
no comparison on the planet. It’s literally 1/3 of the forest on the planet. This isn’t some easy problem to solve.

@arjunswritings I live in the largest metro area within 700 km. 110k people. Us, and the communities around us, are the ones experiencing this face to face.
Compassion. Integrity. Understanding.
Characteristics every JD should have.
@arjunswritings How is Canadian sovereignty possibly a problem?
We’re neighbours. We’ve experienced the same issues coming from your nation. Our people have died assisting you in these type of moments.
People are losing their livelihoods. Communities are being wiped off the map.
@EagleZeroX@WomanDefiner Using “you can drive a car on it” as a point of reference is a clear indicator of being out of your depth. Anyone in the industry knows it’s significantly easier to build a forestry road for car use than for moving equipment and lumber.
@EagleZeroX@WomanDefiner We established its 1.3 billion for 184 km of road. That’s not “high commercial activity” road, it’s middle of the boreal forest, 700km from the nearest metro road.
So, again, you’re greatly underestimating the cost and throwing numbers out there with 0 statistics to support
@EagleZeroX@WomanDefiner 🤷🏻♂️ I’m starting to doubt you have any experience in the forestry industry or knowledge of the process.
That’s cool too, it’s not like road construction is usually 60% of harvesting costs or anything.
Keep living in dreamland, I’ll stick to the bush
@WeAllNeedJesus1 Wait until you experience ash falling like rain from the sky, see your streets filled with people whose homes have burned.
We don’t want this. We don’t cause it. Nature wins every single time.
