Our game will have 40+ levels and 100+ items in total, each level and item has gone through a lot of iterations and we put a lot of thoughts into each one
I think the game is good. Everytime we playtest people have fun and we're really honing in the "fun" part making sure everything is smooth. But after working on the same thing for such a long time its hard to not let it rot into not being fun anymore...
Made this super simple quick project opener with a fzf wrapped script. Love finding small repetetive motions i do each day and just remove them. Previously i would open up a terminal, cd into whatever project then run codium . to open a project. Now its one keybinding
@rfleury@Pirat_Nation Just got rid of my last Windows install, only thing i miss daily when coding is your debugger. The days are longer and darker without it - its an awesome tool 🙂 can't wait for the linux port.
Finished the almost-final iteration of our Discovery/Codex, feels like a great side-addition to increase player curiosity and to satisfy that "collect all rocks" part of the brain.
After 9 years of indie dev i have never actually prepped a game for Steam. Currently implementing steam achievements for my current game and its a nice feeling, i feel very formal and official 🕴️
Just got done with the first iteration of this new feature in our game that lets the player scroll through their discovered items Pokédex style, nice to get an overview of all current items in the game as well

Adding some visual effects to various items for my game! This one is for an item that deals out poison when you dash through an enemy! S-s-scary
