#TrialbyJury, #Commonlaw https://t.co/J7AXMkRPsx via @YouTube This is a must watch video on how society benefits from full Trial by Jury. The public are being gaslight, & told justice is served better by Judge/Magistrate only trial. Wrong. #WilliamKeyte

@vickygrayson_@andyburnham And who decides what 'social good' is? This is why a majority-backed policy, however 'good' it might appear, cannot legitimately be imposed upon the minority. That breaks the Golden Rule that the Constitution was originally based on.
@KarlTurnerMP@andyburnham you are right, it was all those things, and would have meant asking the King to break his oath to govern according to our laws and customs, but it was Shabana Mahmood who got the ball rolling instructing Sir Brian Leveson with explicit instructions to consider removing juries.
@KarlTurnerMP@andyburnham We are not being honest here, are we - it's not the first time Trial by Jury has been removed - 1855, 1977, 1988, 2003 and every time a summary only offence is created. We need a restoration!
@KarlTurnerMP@andyburnham yes, it was unjust, undemocratic (i'm not talking suffrage here, but the essence of democracy found in TBJ)& unethical... the application of those descriptors surely demonstrates it was a crime to suggest it. But you all proceeded as if parliament had the right to do it!
@ThatAlexWoman Hi Alex I just wondered whether you received the email I sent with a letter via TalkTV. Had to send via Talk as I have no other address. Kind regards.
@SecretPeopleTSP there is a problem with believing that parliament can dictate to the King the promise he should make to the people. There is a problem if the King cannot remove statute without parliament's agreement. all these faulty beliefs lead to the place where we are now.
@Lewis_Brackpool The common law, which the Saxon Kings governed according to can unite the country just as Alfred the Great did. Objective morality and equal justice for all with due process of common law trial by jury are universal and transcend all races and religion.
@SecretPeopleTSP@ThePeople_Rule ...If you take action or prop-up a 'solution' that looks 'good enough' on the surface according to your perception, you may, if you haven't gone deep enough, be self sabotaging your efforts without realising it. Classic misunderstanding of Natural Law...
@LouLeeLouLa@KeenWilliamson@SecretPeopleTSP Parliament using its own lawmaking mechanism to erase its own lawbreaking is the very definition of a legislative despotism. Sounds like tyranny to me.

@TJ092011@wideawake_media Bill of Rights and Coronation Oath Act - obtained following a treasonous coup - denuded the King and paved the way for party politics and the dangerous notion of parliamentary sovereignty. because of this, most of the population think the King shouldn't be involved in governing!
@Joanna__Hardy If a government can change the constitution which binds it, then that constitution is no protection to the people at all. Until such time as people realise this and act accordingly, we will always be at risk of tyranny.
@JUSTICEhq@thebarcouncil@Kirsty_Brimelow Our common law constitution is trial by jury. That means TBJ is moral and equitable principle so anyone that tries to alter or restrict the people's constitution would be using the legislature to commit crime.
@ABridgen This is why we have the common law constitution of trial by jury. To empower the people as the supreme sovereign power in jury independence above the machinery of government. Otherwise public servants act as masters over slaves.
@ABridgen MPs getting a taste of their own medicine. The public servants should be doing their job and upholding our Trial by Jury constitution - whereby nobody may have their choices removed without their peers saying so. Reclaim that power for the people.
