@ChaosOnPaper Funny. Writers have always been fair game. Remember when we had to pay 10 cents a word to have someone check spelling and grammar? And they did a poor job. Now we can have AI do it in seconds. The marketing angle is about all that is left for the hucksters. So tired of that.
I feel ya, John. Reminds me of the time out camping when my friends and I came across three little cubs. We shot one, and captured the other two. They didnt fare well in captivity, though. Actually starved to death. The thing was, and this is the sad part, the mama bear came looking for us. Was quite rude, really, and ripped my friends faces off. Can you imagine the horror? I am organizing a campaign against the evil bears. Wish me luck!
Im feeling pretty special today. Apparently, there is a group of people at Amazon who take the time to find things I might like.
That type of thoughfulness is rare today.
Right? Funny stuff. I hate the way service workers get screwed. In many states employers are allowed to pay employees less than minimum wage if they get tips. Imagine:
Employer: I have a job for you.
Employee: Does it at least pay minimum wage?
Employer: Nope. Even less. And no benefits. But your tips will make up the difference.
Employee: ...?
Employer: Get to work.
@6StringRazer@max12346590@_brownie0_ Engagement pennies? What in the world is that? Whatever it means, its a great line. "YO, take your engagement pennies and scram!"
