Australia was born on 1st January 1901. Before that we were a group of seperate British colonies. Why not change our national day to the date we came into being...and save a public holiday as well.

Why can’t the RC church simply admit that having an all male clergy and demanding that they remain celibate is the root cause of most sexual abuse by priests. Men are sexual beings...they attack children because they have more chance of getting away with it. Changes are needed.

Why is it that the term “reform” always seems to mean people paying more for less. To me to properly reform anything means the service should provide more for the same amount or less cost. the reverse of its current political meaning.
