@stephenjones9 What’s with the refusal to accept the financial realities? Perhaps 30 are good enough to play pro rugby, the others can enjoy rugby as semi pros/ amateurs-what’s wrong with that?

[David Williams @DavidWi31766126]

@JNPhillips4 Well put. I think the WRU is right about the number of pro teams but is guilty of the worst change management process I’ve ever seen.

@huwrichards3 @JackoRugby @windiescricket Now, Majid, probably the most elegant batsman ever to play for Glamorgan.

@AnthonyAinsdale Was their mental state ever in doubt? They rely on much of their voter base not being around in the 1970s; this is no surprise to thou of us who were.

@ContractorCalc @jacques_davey All MPs should be required to have had a job.

@ArchRose90 Far too thick skinned to care. Let them eat cake.

@OWS1892 As I’m sure you do, just don’t use them.

@JuliaHB1 @metpoliceuk The Oxford PPE course turns out yet another halfwit

[David Williams @DavidWi31766126]

@stephenjones9 Totally disagree. The quality lift resulting from the involuntary “concentration” of English Prem teams was marked.

@simonrug Sorry to be the Grinch but if I hadn’t been good enough in my professional life, I’d have had to change careers. The same applies to professional sport but brutally so. If I listen to many of our retired World class players, their view is clear - too many journeymen being paid.

[David Williams @DavidWi31766126]

@JiffyRugby Absolutely agree re. two Welsh regions in the English Premiership. The WRU negotiators always seem greedy, overplay their hand and come away with nothing . I’m exiled near Manchester and so have a Sale season ticket; a bit selfish but I’d love two Welsh regions on the fixtures.

@JackoRugby @ospreys @URCOfficial Well I suppose, in the end, JT had his cake and ate it. A fun farewell and an excellent Ospreys win.
