We should resolve disputes & enact change w/ argument and engagement- not violence and intimidation. It is deeply reckless and irresponsible for an elected official to encourage protestors that have already caused injury and destroyed property to get “more confrontational.”
Folks- Can we get some love for the @CTGOP_Rapid team? This is a new initiative by a good group of SC members who are truly looking to improve the social media aspect of the party. Please follow them and share their posts when you can. @cthrcc@CTSenateGOP
@bdflorsheim This one too Ben: 'Kevin Rennie: After the tears, politicians should step up and welcome some of the children at the border to Connecticut.' That's you and Matt, BTW. https://t.co/gtN3L8IlS2
@bdflorsheim Had to go to Urban Dictionary on 'Galaxy Brain.' Seems about right tho;
'Galaxy brain;' seeming compliment turned sarcastic insult. used often by leftists to insult of excessively stupid or shortsighted Neo-Liberal hot takes on current events, history, policies'...
I am in disbelief that despite bipartisan urging by GA leaders not to do, @MLB has canceled the Atlanta All Star Game over bogus claims about GA election law. Cancel culture in America has gotten totally out of control & is now being driven by the White House.
As a parent and someone with a career in law enforcement I wanted to express my strong opposition to Sen. Winfield's bill to ban school resource officers. They play a vital role in keeping our education environment safe.
Another attack on police. It should be left to municipalities to decide if they want police presence. @CTSenateDems@CTDems stop trying to control everything on a State level.
On Veterans Day we honor the courage&dedication of all who served in our U.S. Military. These brave men&women faced our enemies to protect us&assure that we continue to enjoy our liberty&way of life. Freedom is never free. It’s paid for by our Veterans. Today we say, “Thank You.”
Just as he has done for the past 16 months, and will do as your next Congressman, David is out talking to voters across the 5th district today.
Make sure you vote today!
Polls close at 8pm.
After a day on the campaign trail, David stopped off in Sherman to help hand out Halloween candy in the community-sponsored Trick or Treat drive-by event. He also visited with Sherman Veterans. Safety protocols assured children could participate&still enjoy the fun of Halloween.
Earlier in the campaign the WR-A conducted a reader poll — the only published poll in this race — which showed the readers of the WR-A overwhelmingly preferred David over his opponent.
Waterbury clearly supports David. Join them in voting for David on Nov. 3rd!
The Waterbury Republican-American has just endorsed David X. Sullivan for Congress in #CT05! The WR-A is the hometown newspaper of his opponent. #CTPolitics@CTGOP
