From @TheAthleticFC: New Jersey Transit is currently planning to charge more than $100 for return rail tickets from Penn Station to MetLife Stadium for FIFA World Cup games.
The 18-mile rail journey ordinarily costs $12.90 for a return ticket. https://t.co/iTKqMfVgxs
@FWC26Houston I hope @HoustonTX / FIFA is planning to add numerous cooling stations and temporary shade structures throughout the festival and for the walk from light rail to NRG. 🥵
It’s like paying to see Taylor Swift and the night before you find out through X she didn’t make the trip but the opening act did. At least with her you get a refund, but since Messi’s team still plays the game your SOL. It’s always a risk to pay for one person, but still sucks.
Jokes on me and my bank account, but here are my failed Messi sightings since he joined MLS. Traveled to Atlanta last Sept., Leagues Cup vs. Tigres in Houston, and this MLS match in Houston.
What’s yours? #MessiMIA
