We shouldn't be surprised when those who historically considered it heresy to translate the Bible into English say it's a sin to engage with Protestant apologetics.
“Listening to opposing arguments is dangerous for your faith”
I gotta disagree. In high school when I had atheist doubts I started reading every atheist I could find to inoculate myself
It was a rough 6 months but since then I’ve never doubted God.
This video does not demonstrate confidence in the claims of Catholicism. It seems to be panic at the rise of classical Protestant apologetics
But this I know, that He was born of Mary, when Bethl'hem's manger was His only home, and that He lived at Nazareth and laboured, and so the Saviour, Saviour of the world is come.
I cannot tell why He whom angels worship, should set His love upon the sons of men, or why as shepherd He should seek the wand'rers, to bring them back, they know not how or when.
Jesus was born on December 25th.
Truly. Christmas wasn’t “made up,” and December 25 isn’t a random date. There’s a serious historical case that Christ was actually born then. The date appears very early, by the early third century, long before Christianity had power or incentive to hijack pagan festivals. Hippolytus of Rome names it plainly. Early Christians used Jewish chronological reasoning. A widespread belief held that great prophets died on the same date they were conceived. Christ’s Crucifixion was calculated as March 25. Nine months later is December 25. This logic appears in Tertullian and Augustine and is internal, not polemical. The pagan claim is weak. Saturnalia ended December 23. Sol Invictus on December 25 was formalized after Christians were already celebrating Christmas. There is no ancient source saying Christians chose the date to replace a pagan feast. The shepherds in winter objection proves uncertainty, not impossibility. Judean winters are mild and flocks near Bethlehem stayed outdoors year round. Luke’s unusually precise chronology through Temple service cycles again points to a winter birth. If December 25 were purely symbolic, we would expect rival dates. Instead it becomes dominant quickly. Even the symbolism is Christian, not borrowed. The Light enters the world at the darkest time. The Church did not steal a holiday. It baptized time itself.
Almighty God, protector of the weak,
please work within the hearts of the United Kingdom's Peers, influencing them to vote against the monsterous Assisted Suicide Bill. Only you can save the countless vulnerable people it would affect if passed.
Amen
Every morning, I ask the Lord to lead me to a Psalm to listen to. Today it was Psalm 99. Here it is for you listen to, while thinking of our brother @charliekirk11's passing: https://t.co/o3s50ZOpTU

Our way of life has been shaped for the better by Christian values.
You don’t have to be a churchgoer to appreciate that.
Britain is a Christian country, and that should not be erased in the name of 'diversity'.
We should stop apologising for being who we are.
I asked reasonable and constructive questions of Nigel Farage and Reform's leadership, following months of pushing for progress behind closed doors.
The day after, I find a knife in my back over false allegations. Whip suspended.
That tells you everything you need to know.
