@gdinwiddie Agreed, the code might be locked up as IP, but there might be a way to share the project as planned and and outcomes or results that would be compatible.

@gdinwiddie We might find that positive, including more people in the masters program. It loops workplace knowledge back into universities, and connects the workplace with research. Opposite of Spin-out.

I'd like to imagine universities and workplaces would be up for that sort of masters.

@gdinwiddie The thought was that the old idea of a master craftsman came from someone working doing paid work. Today, once we start paid work, we are unlikely to go back to do our masters.

I thought: what if we pick some project at work to focus more energy on & write up as our masterpiece?
