Una volta, Tolkien ha scritto una poesia in lingua gotica, "Bagme Bloma". Venne inizialmente inclusa in una raccolta chiamata "Songs of the Philologists", una pubblicazione interna al suo dipartimento.
Casomai interessasse l'ho tradotta in italiano.

Il 6-7 Ottobre 2026 si terrà presso l'Università di Cagliari il Convegno "Maligno animo et lingua detractoria: l'arte della maldicenza dall'antichità alla contemporaneità" e sono felicissimo di prendervi parte come relatore!

Sono certo sarà una bella esperienza

According to ancient sources, Anaximander made a map of the entire known world. Hecataeus of Miletus upgraded it and wrote a Periodos ges "Journey Roud the Earth" in addiction.
Of course the map show all of its limits, but its invention dramatically changed Geography science.
