Pleased with the steady progress of the 955-unit Starehe Affordable Housing Project in Nyahururu Town, Laikipia West Constituency, which will provide decent housing to the residents.

We are implementing inclusive development programmes so that no part of Kenya or community is left behind.

In Laikipia County, KSh4 billion has been allocated for the construction of the 60km long-awaited Nanyuki-Doldol road, with the contractor set to start work shortly. Overall, we are building 217km of roads across the county.

In addition, KSh60 million has been allocated for the construction of five new schools in Laikipia North to enhance access to education in the region.

We are also investing KSh15 billion in the Affordable Housing Programme, which will include building 13 modern markets.

Laid the foundation stone for the Doldol Huduma Centre, Laikipia North Constituency, which will house an ICT hub and bring 168 Government services closer to the people.

Also addressed residents of Doldol and handed over a bus to Kurum Day Secondary School.

Inspected the ongoing construction of the 4,600-unit Soweto Affordable Housing Project, Lang’ata Constituency, Nairobi. Shortly, we will break ground for the construction of another 15,000 homes in Kibra.
