U2 is one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history. It was formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1976.
They were originally called Feedback and then The Hype before adopting their final name, U2.
Their four founding members have remained the same since the beginning: Bono (Paul David Hewson) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, The Edge (David Howell Evans) on lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals, Adam Clayton on bass, and Larry Mullen Jr. on drums.
They began with post-punk and new wave influences but evolved into an epic, alternative rock style with strong social and spiritual themes. They are known for their stadium anthems, profound lyrics, and spectacular live performances.
Among their most important albums are 1987’s The Joshua Tree, their most iconic album, 1991’s Achtung Baby, 2000’s All That You Can’t Leave Behind, and 2004’s How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
They have sold over 170 million albums worldwide, won 22 Grammy Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. Some of their most iconic songs include “With or Without You,” “One,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “Beautiful Day,” and “Vertigo.”
U2 remains active after nearly 50 years in the business, with Bono and The Edge as the primary songwriters.

[NEWS] Bill Knight Automotive is solving fleet service's biggest blind spot:
Ryan Knight, Director of Operations for the Tulsa-based group, opened a 30,000-sq.-ft., 30-bay Ford Pro Elite shop dedicated exclusively to commercial service:
12 fleet bays moved out of the retail store, freeing capacity on both sides.
As a result, absorption rate target jumped to 120%, up from 75–80%.
Meanwhile, upfitting moved in-house, cutting weeks off fleet delivery timelines.
For Knight, this was a bet on the one part of the business that doesn't swing with the market.
His philosophy: "The new car market, the used car market's up and down. The one thing day in and day out we need to rely on is our fixed operations."

Warren Buffett: "My job is to take these outstanding managers — who usually come with the businesses we buy [and] where they get all kinds of money from me — and keep them as excited about working subsequently as they were before they sold [to Berkshire Hathaway]."
Never bet against iteration speed. Humanoid robots went from viral stumbles to kung fu flips in one year. Same trajectory as everything else in tech—initially clumsy, then suddenly superhuman.
Investors are flocking to factory owners, fast-food restaurants and commodity companies with seemingly strong odds of surviving the AI revolution intact https://t.co/5C3u41RmRK

"We're USA, we're so proud to be Americans. Tonight was all for the country."
I first met @bgurley in the mid-’90s when he covered Dell on Wall Street—and I was stunned how he understood parts of our business better than we did. 😲
He’s always had a rare ability to see what truly drives success.
His new book Runnin’ Down a Dream is outstanding. Practical, sharp, and packed with hard-earned wisdom. I wish every young person had this at the start of their careers.
