There are no more Slender-billed Curlews left on earth.

The species was declared EXTINCT in October 2025.

Yesterday at #AEWAMOP9, as delegates paid tribute to this elusive bird, this taxidermied specimen was on view, serving as a powerful reminder of what's at stake.
