and to hear our Governor @GovTimWalz speak so passionately about the need to eradicate the bullying and hate spreading through our country and to state clearly that it is a priority in Minnesota to make sure trans people know they are welcome here.

@barbyarusso @zdsellie Great point! But our right to exist will not be debated. And in both chambers we will have multiple LGBTQ members. It will be such a different environment. People are always going to say what they want to say and print what they want to print, but it will stop there.

The trifecta in MN also means that for at least two years, there will be no anti-trans/LGBT legislation being debated on either chamber floor. That breath of fresh air will have an impact — there is also a ton of power in the absence of legislation. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
