@PeabodyDoc @RejectedShotgun @Just_Zoephie Baked, in this case, refers to projecting a high poly mesh into a low poly mesh via the normal map channel. This process is called "baking". It's a very useful tool to preserve mesh detail for low performance cost in video games.

@blackwallwh @Halo_VFX To add to that, Bungie themselves give credence to the fact that the games take precedent over all other forms of media. Sure bungie shows chief struggling against a few brutes, that's fine. I bet though that the choreography and fight IQ is far higher than being dragged around.

@blackwallwh @Halo_VFX Most of your examples come from post Bungie games / lore. It's unsurprising they kept the same mischaracterization of him consistent. For whatever reason you're interpreting my contention as saying that chief should never lose and should always win. This is not true.
